it is sad and although i think some pupils need a good hiding this was a bit extreme.

I think perhaps he threw the first thing that came to hand! It is sad though! But he should not have thrown anything!

Yeah I agree with you, Micki and Rose. It's not right - the law is suppose to be, school pupils should never be touched by an teacher! The lad must have done something though, for the teacher to be so angry and cause such bad injuries.

Oh Rose I am so glad that you said that because I was thinking the same thing... It doesn't make it right but something has to be done about discipline in schools.... as I think that secondary teachers have a tough time of it ..
JJ walks Herbie with a chap who is a primary school teacher and he says you would not believe how some of them act and all he can do is say in a stern voice " I will give you a black mark" well you can imagine how they care about that!

Oh I see the school kids beside me and hear what they call their teachers - I even heard one say that he threw his chair at the teacher and there was nothing the "f'n" teacher could do about it!! Well he said it in my earshot, so I told the young lout had it been me he threw his chair at, he would have been wearing it!!
The teachers do have a hard time, perhaps the law should be changed to fine their parents! Perhaps that may help stop it! Or bring the kids into school to see what their "angels" get up to!

I agree....much sterner methods are needed in the schools. Canings never going to come back though.....imagine all the law suits where the parents sue the teachers for assault!
