Well how is everyone getting on with their Xmas shopping. I cheat and start collecting gifts at the beginning of the year, and in September I buy the larger gifts that have been requested. Plus a few just in case presents !!! Wrapping paper and stocking fillers are bought in the January sales. All my gifts are wrapped and labeled, and ready for dispatch by Santa, and I can sit back and watch people rushing round like headless chickens. This all stems from being brought up by a very Victorian grandmother, who never left anything to the last minuet. she was also very frugal with her money, and so she passed onto me to look out for bargains, throughout the year. the only thing I have left to get now is the fresh food groceries. You perhaps think I am mad, but I find that it doesn't sting the pocket so much, and you have more time to think about the person your buying for. All my Xmas cards I make myself.
