This type of thing makes me very angry. I could go off on a total rant but will try to avoid it! How these "children" which is after all what they are can plan and carry out such a vicious attack is beyond me, it brings back vivid memories of Poor James Bulger. No doubt the two involved in this will be tried as children, which is like I say what they are HOWEVER they have committed an atrocious crime - what should happen to them? I honestly don't know (though I do have some viable ideas) but I think they need to be severely punished they have clearly failed to learn right from wrong at this point in their life so they NEED to be taught it now. No doubt in days to come we will hear about how hard their childhood has been and how they (may) have been abused and this has caused them to rebel etc etc.
FACT:- 2 other children have been injured 1 left for dead...no amount of abuse or bad upbringing is an excuse for that behaviour. It really makes me so angery
My thoughts are with the two injured kids and their families and I hope (though doubt) Justice will be done

I so agree with what you have said, Lynne. Wait and see all the "do-gooders" coming out of their hidey-holes and saying the two (if they are the ones who did it) are "poor wee boys" and should be given a holiday - they suffer at home etc etc etc! I thought of James Bulger and the two who murdered him - because that was what it was - they will (or have got) new IDs and new places to live and all at the taxpayers expense. They can carry on with their lives but poor wee James Bulger never got the chance!
I too hope the two injured children will see proper justice - but like you, I doubt it!!

Aw, this has been on the news - shook my Mum when hearing that, because that's where we went nearly a year ago, to get Taylor!! Makes you think really, why on earth such young kids could do such a thing - I hope they get what they deserve later, in life - but as many cases nower days, I am sure nothing will be done

my youngest little sister is only just older than those boys - and i know a good few boys that age too - and can't beleive someone that young would do such a thing. makes me feel sick - thats probably why my mum doesn't like my little to go out far on her own - i guess cos i've never known any one like that i can't imagine any one that age able to do it.

words fail me, I hope that the two boys recover quickly and their attackers are given as sever punishment that can be given, but at that age they may get a way lightly.

Bet they get off with it - naughty boys and all that, knuckles wrapped then they go free. The system needs to be brought into the 21st Century.

TAken from yahoo news. Lets hope they are given a suitable and severe punishment and thatthe 2 young victims continue to recover. Can you imagine the impact this will have had on them. In a way it is more harrowing that there were 2 victims as each will feel guilty about not being able to protect the other, and they will live that despite counselling. I do hope they get all the help they need in their recovery. It still makes me so angry.

Many thanks Lynne but I doubt they will get a severe sentence and if they do then they will only serve so much, will be given new identities and probably them along with their families given new houses in another area - all at the tax payers expense!! I got the following link from BTInternet uk.news.yahoo.com/4/20090407/tuk-doncaster-boys-charged-over-attack-dba1618.htmlAgain, thank you for that info Lynne:) Take care.

the mother of the boys is saying it has nothing to do with her WRONG!!!! it's everything to do with her she is their mother and had she brought them up rigt they wouldn't have dreamt of doing a thing like that i say it always lies with the upbringing

if found guilty they will be given a new adentity later and shipped off somewhere wonderful to start a new life where they are not know what a super punishment they should be let out on the streets after doing their time and made to stand up for themselves maybe live with some fear like the poor boys they attacked did appauling and still this thing goes on
