To me this is just ludicrous. At ther end of the day its the poor dogs and other Animals who will lose out. so glad I don't donate to either of these as would not want my donation spent in such a way. What a waste of money to raise this campaign. news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/7865965.stm

How on earth can they justify spending £100,000 on an ad campaign when so many dogs are suffering. Scandalous I call it. They seem to have forgotten where their priorities should lie.

Totally agree with, Sharon. Why waste money on a campaign, when it could help homeless animals - this is proberly for people to think, they are poor and donate more money to them (the rescue) Somewhere, I heard or read that they found the RSPC had lots of money in the bank - not being spent! So where is all that now?

Saw this on TV news last night. Neither of them are any good. Too much rivalry!! The money being spent on the ad campaign is being paid for by those who donate but their donations are for the animals. Both organisations are falling flat on their face and should be disbanded and money given to those animal charities who do look after the the animals who are in need of being looked after.
Neither of the organisations, RSPCA or SSPCA, do what they are supposed to do.
It's disgraceful! I don't donate either to them, nor would I.
Thanks Eunice for sharing the article.
Take care.

I have no comment except that I have no time for the RSPCA they are the richest rescue body, they only do good when the cameras or newspaper reporter is around.

Well said Tricia ....
They should stop quibbling and get on with the job that people give their donations to support not pay for advertisment
