Aw looks all confusing - there is always something! I sometimes think that Google do have alot of privacy information on there though.

I suppose you could use the argument....'.if you're not doing anything wrong, you've got nothing to fear'. We've got it in Swansea too, and my son has been watching OH arriving and leaving work today. I don't like it! Anyone can watch your front door and watch the comings and goings.....and see when the house is empty. I heard that Google have had to remove 500 images after people complained of invasion of privacy......and that's just in 1 day!!

That's the reason I don't like it either. I think it's freaky!! I don't think they should be allowed to carry on with it.

I can see where I live on the map but not the actual people on the drives!! And when zoomed in, the picture distorts!

Yeah, I have noticed you can clearly work out where I live on the map - they haven't updated for a few years though!!

My friend uses it to map out the road to take when we go away for the day, although he has his SatNav but it is still good to see the place where we are going to. I don't think it good though that actual streets etc can be seen!

it's all so wrong never mind being able to disagree with having your home on a web map and being able to have it removed didn't they think to ask peoples permission in the first place, how about all these people who do not have a computer and are unaware of the intrusion the world is becoming invaded by cameras before long the goverment will want you filmed on the bloody loo for gods sake, they want facebook and bebo,my space to save all your personal emails and stuff to track what you are doing on your own dam computer, they reckon it's so they can track criminals movements better what a crock of old poo what is the point in people having a personal email account for people like the goverment to read all your personnel stuff i think it's appaulling

It's an invasion of privacy! Good points you make there, Corinne. Pity someone wouldn't take Google to court for an invasion of privacy!! That would teach them a lesson!! I am all for CCTV but in its correct place, not to spy on people's homes. But certainly not what Google are doing!!

Oh, Corinne, I put my name in and I got a complaint I had sent to the Highland Wildlife Centre back in January!! Also, I came across a page with people looking for relatives of my 2nd name!! However, it isn't right that they should be able to read people's mail!! That is really over-stretching the mark!! The government should step in and stop it!
Many thanks for that info. Interesting indeed:)
Take care.

as for reading your private emails You're kidding? They can't be aloud to read through people's emails! That's shameful, having a name that will read through your emails - so bad. That means, they hack into your hotmail then
