Hi Corrine as far as theBBC is concerned I do not think that thanks is due to them in any way , i.m.o .they have done more harm than good to the world of pedigree dogs and if the follow up programme is as biased as the first one then even more harm will be done and the Puppy Farmers and BYB's will be running their hands in anticipation of all the sales they will get from gullible the people being taken in by this programme which I can tell you for a fact was edited in such a way that it was shown for sensationalism for and a lot of the people who took part in it will not be conned a second time into having their statements erdited, but getting back to the harm the programme has done I feel because they h don't know any better that a lot of people havave been taken in by all this hype and moving away from the KC registered dogs.
A certain lady very much involved in the production of the PDE Programme admitted herself that it was done for sensationalism.
They picked a few breedswfor the programme who have problems and left out all the other almost 200 breeds who don't have problems because healthy breeds would not be sensational enough.
Anyone watching this programme only had to see how they boxer who fitted was handled by the owners and this to me was fdownright dangerous ad any memeber of the public watching this was led to believe that this is the way to handle a fitting dog. I don't think so, I think that anyone doing thiswith a fitting dog is asking to be bitten, so just one of the things that was not handled propberly in the produiction of this programme. I could go on an on, but I will stop here as I have said my piece and I will leave any of you who wish to carro on with the debate to do so without any more input from me.
Also can you explain what you mean by this
