I hope there ARE repercussions for BCC. They've acted appallingly throughout. Their final insult to the Barnes family?.......they wanted Lennox collar back, the daughter wanted it as a keepsake. No! BCC will not be returning the collar. They didn't even have the decency to inform the family directly about Lennox fate yesterday...... The BCC should be investigated! savelennox.com/2011/09/09/an-act-of-perjury-by-belfast-city-council-dog-wardens/

I doubt they even took the time to respond to any of those who sent in letters/e-mails! I know I never got a response! The BCC should be thrown out at the next elections and I think they will - the electorate have a good memory!
That latest news is disgusting not to give back Lennox's collar!
That dog warden should be arrested and charged and thrown in prison. Lying scoundrel.
Well, one day, a higher up judge will judge the actions of her and the others involved and they will be sent to Hell!

Good for him for speaking out! BCC ignored experts advice preferring to use THEIR experts opinion on Lennox........even though he himself said he was no expert. Victoria Stilwell offered to fund transportation to USA for Lennox so he could be rehomed, and that was denied too. BCC appear to be intent on destroying Lennox, come what may , and the fact the family were denied a chance to see Lennox, be with him at the end and could not have his collar returned.......seems Lennox was PTS a long time ago and the BCC didn't anticipate the public support for saving Lennox. A big big coverup IMO and they should be investigated and people should lose their jobs!

You are correct, I believe, Sharon. I think Lennox was PTS a long time ago as well! How cruel - BCC should be disbandoned and an election made and the old BCC charged with cruelty and perjury as well! I wonder what qualifications their so-called "experts" had!

Quote Belfast City Council’s expert Peter Tallack is also discussed in Victoria’s podcast about Lennox. Victoria explains to her listeners that Peter Tallack who has no skills in dog behaviour, who is not a behaviourist and who does not understand dog behaviour but is paid by Belfast City Council to act as their expert was allowed by Judge Rodgers to give evidence as such. Victoria, in reference to Judge Rodgers acceptance of non expert evidence from Peter Tallack said ” the courts would rather go with untrained, unqualified evidence rather than evidence from two trained, two qualified behavioural experts who both assessed Lennox and said he was not a danger” Lennox supporters around the world now know that Peter Tallack admits himself he is no behaviourist so why was it then that he based any of his assessment report on such? Why was it that Judge Rodgers allowed such a bad stage act to progress? Why was it that Judge Rodgers ignored the evidence of two highly skilled behavioural experts being David Ryan and Sarah Fisher who both agree Lennox is not a danger? and why did Judge Rodgers ignore all the other expert evidence given in Lennox’s defence and instead opt to accept the non expert opinion of Peter Tallack? To set the scene and give some history on Peter Tallack, he is on record as saying that an effective means to controlling a non cooperative dog is to be able to kick, punch or even step on a dog, although strange and quite disturbingly he did once serve time as a dog handler within the Metropolitan Police where he finally retired a Police Constable after holding the position for twenty five years,

Well, Sharon, that says it all, doesn't it! I think the family should go to the European courts to see if they can't do something about the BCC! That is disgraceful and to think that man would be paid a large sum of money - taxpayers money at that - for his "expert" advice!
Think I will apply for the job! I bet he knows as much as I do about dog behaviour - and that is zilch!!
Thanks, Sharon, for the info!

I feel that way as well! It's now up to those who voted in the BCC to show their feelings at the next election - get rid of them all.
It is a disgrace - and think the family have been treated dreadfully!
