sounds like its gonna suit him Lyn. Rabbits love tubes to run through if Martin can find any wide enough for Oscar. :)

Tubes are a brilliant idea Micki. I'll see if they are laying water pipes anywhere, one of those might be big enough ;D Seriously though will have a look round Trago Mills, we'll find something we will be able to adapt.

Ouch Rose :-/ you have just pricked my 'book writing' conscience, I really must make an effort otherwise it makes all I've written so far a waste. I promise you will be the first to read it :)

Oscar had his first 'sleep over' in the aviary last night and I am so please it proved successful.
I had bought him a little padded fur lined dog bed and popped it in the corner where he likes to sit and on checking him last night he was loving it. He greeted me at the door this morning looking very happy. I too was happy to see he hadn't used the bed as a litter tray which was a concern.
Martin will build his 'rooms' this weekend as I do think he has claimed the aviary as his new home.
I looked everywhere for something to improvise into tunnels for him but there was nothing I could see when I looked round the building part of Trago. I'll just have to keep my eyes open and recognise a potential rabbit tunnel when I see it.

The wise man will stop, think and learn before he judges, whereas the sheep will follow the crowd and believe all thats said, so next time you are about to judge, decide, would you rather be a sheep or a wise man?

Aw Lyn he would be as warm as a wee bug in a rug!! Bet he was really thrilled with his new bed! I saw a great cat bed in the pet shop today when I was in - it was semi-circular and looked great for a cat and I just thought it would also do for rabbits as well:)

He will love his new sections as well when they are all done!

You and Martin are doing a grand job!

Hugs to him from me.

Take care.

He loves it Rose and is so good not chewing or throwing it around the room which happens to his empty bowls.
His may be similar to what you saw, it is padded fleece with a cotton outer and it is oval in shape with a lower bit at the front so he can hop in and out.
